Vandaag maakten Noah and the Whale bekend dat hun muzikale carrière ten einde komt. De band bracht sinds 2008 vier albums uit, waarvan ‘Heart of nowhere’ uit 2013 de laatste was. Fans hopen dat het om één of andere slechte aprilgrap gaat. Hoewel die mogelijkheid niet helemaal kan uitgesloten worden, lijkt het toch onwaarschijnlijk. Vanmiddag postte de Britse folkgroep een kort statement op hun Facebook, dat vind je hieronder. In het bericht werd ook gelinkt naar de persoonlijke websites van alle (ex-)bandleden, wat erop kan wijzen dat er binnenkort soloprojecten uit het Noah & The Whale-kamp zullen opduiken.
