De Amerikaanse psych-popband Glass Animals brengt deze zomer een nieuw album uit. De langverwachte opvolger van ‘Dreamland‘ komt uit op 19 juli en heet ‘I love you so f***ing much’. Op Instagram geeft Dave Bayley meer context: “these are love songs. they look at all the twisted shapes and forms of love, good and bad. they were born out of a large existential crisis. so maybe it is fair to call them “existential love songs.” i tried to work my way out of this existential crisis, and that resulted in some writing. that writing ended up being the backbone to this album. the songs are all addressed to ‘you.’ But the ‘you’ applies to different people in different songs…“.
De band brengt het album dit najaar ook naar ons land. Op 16 oktober staat Glass Animals in Vorst Nationaal. Tickets zijn te koop vanaf 11 april om 10u via de website van de zaal. Check hieronder de visualiser van hun nieuwe single ‘Creatures in heaven’.
